ART - MULTIMEDIA

My artwork represents some of the same themes presented in Musings of A Mad Hungarian, my book of poetry.  Several pieces of artwork are included in the book.

Life treats us to many perceptions, experiences, challenges, connections, arrivals, and departures that drive us to mysteriously develop two key emotional responses: sometimes happy, sometimes sad.

We are surrounded by so much noise during our frail existence that we try to interpret and respond based on the nuanced complexity of our lives and interactions.

The tenuousness of our lives winds through many harsh and dangerous channels over the years on our pale blue dot.

I certainly could not have said it any better...

“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning.”

Albert Einstein

Once I was an indoctrinated Catholic, a true and passionate believer in the mythology.  It took some time and research for me to sadly realize the enormous damage this organization has done to humanity over the years.

The mistreatment of the human female species over the millenia has only recently been recognized and rightfully declared as the profound and vile mysogyny that still persists to varying degrees in nations around the world.

We often struggle with some of the most basic and simple things in life because of our understanding or misunderstanding of our existence and relationships with others.

Every heartbeat offers an opportunity and potential for understanding, connection, happiness, and love.

We all play our own songs, our own musical scripts of life and its awkward, often incomprehensible complexities.

We are always reaching, stretching, looking up to the heavens for answers, though unlikely that we may ever be blessed by any.

We live in a complex world with many colors of life, feelings, and understanding of our own existence.
