WHAT IS HOPE?

just like love

hope is an inscrutable

element of human existence

when our aboriginal predecessors

were merely trying to survive

did they have hope

of anything in their minds

of any circumstances

in their primitive existence

how did the neurons and synapses

in their brains

develop such a force

that has driven individuals

and populations

to act in small

and universal ways

to perpetually move

our stammering development

as human beings

in our minimally relevant

existence in the vastness of the

UNIVERSE

through hope
